A Collect For Living Water

This collect was inspired by having to make changes with my 401(k) account.

Why do we store up treasures when money burns and food rots,
gold melts and collections are washed out, fading memoirs of our vanity?

Come O Giver of living water, that you would give us the draught of your kingdom,
the new wine set aside for the great feast.

Since I have been using the Book of Common Prayer more I have become fascinated with collects.  They just are such a great mixture of succintness and substance.
