A Long Journey, with a lot of words…
When I started blogging in June of 2006 it was as a sort of discipline. I wanted something to keep me grounded in a community of other thinkers, writers and readers and a place to keep my beliefs, thoughts and ideas fresh and changing.
Now, over five years later and with more than a 1,000 posts, it’s hard to believe that I’ve kept this going all this time.
To all of you who have written, commented, read or helped out in any way, a very heartfelt thank you.
To another 5 years and another 1,000 posts!

Thomas, I’ve enjoyed Everyday Liturgy quite a lot over the last five years.
One of the things I appreciate most is that you’ve managed to remain civil, thoughtful and diplomatic, even when addressing controversial issues. You and I don’t always agree, but I know my comments are valued and respected. I think that no one perusing the blog’s archives would be able to find a post of which you would be ashamed for its tone or spirit, and that is quite commendable, especially considering the shrill tone of many blogs.
Keep up the good work.
