Advent Poem: Work Before Rest

May this day of work be blessed,
For it is you whom I toil before,
Hoping soon the coming
Day of rest be blessed,
For it is you whom I rest before.

I am taking up the Advent poetry again.  I’ll be doing one each
Wendesday (I messed up next week–my bad). Many people used the poems during church services last
