The Miracle and Mystery of Life

A good look at the character of God is in the knitting of the most exalted of His creation, mankind. Today I had the priviledge and great joy of viewing my wife's ultra-sound. It is magnificent how intricate this tiny creation inside of my her is. I was awestricken by the beautiful child developing, only the size of my hand, about a pound, wiggling and moving. Truly a moment when overwhelming joy and awe for the Father came upon me. So often we take for granted the simple gift and mystery of everyday life. The innocence and simplicity of a new life is an unignorable reminder that life is wondrous. This little new life, my beautiful daughter, softened my heart towards the Lord and His magnificent handiwork. I pray that children be a constant reminder to all of us that life, at is most basic sense, is a miracle; it is a fabulous masterpiece of the Creator.

I can still remember vividly the days when my two sons where born. The first time you hold your child in your arms is a moment that will be with you the rest of your life! It only gets better!!!
