Prayer for the First Week of Epiphany

January 13, 2014

God Almighty,
Let us seek you with open minds and purpose,
and in our seeking find the wisdom of your Holy Spirit,
who dwells within and directs us
toward the truth of the Incarnate Word,
who is Christ.

For in the journey toward wisdom we find
the fruit of the Spirit,
a love overflowing,
a joy everlasting
and a hope eternal.

  1. I just stumbled onto your blog by way of a past posting. I touched down on a couple of other postings to get a bit of a feel of where you’re coming from. I will touch down on a few more and will follow you for a while. I’m interested….and I have a question. How has your regular blogging over the time you have been doing so affected you……just curious, or maybe more than just curious. Thanks for what I’ve read so far. It is good…….cheers…..david brewer

Thanks for the feedback. I think blogging over a long period of time has made me get past the chasing of followers and watching my analytics all the time and just enjoy writing what I want to write. It also makes me practice what I preach, because I see posts I wrote a year ago and realize that I still struggle with that area of my spiritual life.

      Happy reading!
