Rowan Williams Stirs the Waters Across the Pond

The blog "The Other Jesus" has a thought provoking and well rounded article about the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams’ comments about Sharia law.  I might be vain, but the first thing I noticed was the great decorating job the Archbishop has done.  I knew he had written a book on icons, but to see them in his house was admirable.  It sets a great precident for Protestants everywhere!

Getting back to the task at hand, I think there could be interesting ramifications for the individuals in religious communities if Christians were able to keep their own law in some aspects as opposed to American law.  Any thoughts on that one?
