When I sleep and when I am
waking, the Lord, he is there
to guide me to his kingdom now
and forever.

When I sleep I sometimes feel
the kingdom eclipsing time
and bursting the glass and letting
the sand run out covering all
with premordial radiance.

When I sleep I think on what
I ran from all day long, and
the forces gather around me.
Jesus draws a line in the
sand, and I wake up.
