What does your church say about healthcare?
Just curious here:
Does your church talk about health care in the pews? from the pulpit? in the fellowship hall with coffee in hand?
If yes, what are people saying?
If no, do you want them to talk about it? or is the silence golden?
As for me, other than some grumblings I’ve overheard about the government always screwing things up, not much of anything has been said about health care (at least when I’m in the room!) around The Plant.

Though I wish it were otherwise, most of what I’m hearing is the same I might hear from any Secular Right talk-show host: the government can’t run anything, best health care in the world, don’t take MY money, etc..
I did put forward the idea to one person that it’s not MY money, it’s actually something over which God gave me stewardship. That resulted in “Then, God gave it to me, not the government.” My response of “But would Jesus rather you use it to care for the poor or buy that iPhone (he was showing off his new acquisition)?” went over about as well as you’d expect …
