Hi, my name is Thom Turner. I am the Donor Relations Program Manager at International Justice Mission and the Senior Editor & Publisher of GENERATE Magazine. I write frequently for The Curator, The Englewood Review of Books, The Master’s Artist and The Other Journal‘s Mediationblog. I am a graduate of Rutgers University (MA in English) and Philadelphia Biblical University (BS English Ed., BS Bible). I am currently a lay leader at The Plant, a church community growing love, truth and compassion in Mahwah, NJ.
If you are interested in having me speak at your church or your next retreat or conference on integrating liturgy into a contemporary service, personal spirituality, missional spirituality, creativity and worship, ancient-future worship or literature and theology please contact me for more information.
The blog:
Everyday Liturgy exists to be not merely a blog but a conversation. Too often blogs become bastions of individual expertise, a place to go to find someone’s opinion on everything, instead of a place to interact and grow. As we are all about theology and spiritual practice, a conversation is the only way to provide meaningful spiritual growth and inquiry without descending into a modernistic five step plan or hearing the din of one person’s voice over and over.
