Global Prayer Gathering

I am delighted to invite you to join us at our Global Prayer Gathering, April 11-13, 2008, in the Washington, DC area. IJM field operations leaders from Asia, Africa, Latin America, Canada, the UK and the U.S. will gather with us for a powerful time of asking God to bring rescue to the oppressed. As friends and staff of IJM come together for prayer and worship, we will celebrate God’s goodness and righteousness and ask that He would continue to use us to fulfill His promises of justice.

To register online and for more information, visit www.ijm.org and click on the GPG banner.

Throughout the weekend, we will rejoice in the rescue of former victims of violent oppression as they share their own stories. We will also hear from the teams who have been used by God to bring rescue to victims of slavery and oppression. I will join other IJM staff in leading times of reflection, and Lamont Hiebert and Ten Shekel Shirt will lead our time of worship. We will all join in prayer together as IJM staff share with us how they need God’s power to bring rescue in the coming year.

Your prayers sustain us and strengthen us throughout the year. We would be very grateful if you would join us in the Washington, DC area for this transformative time of prayer, worship and fellowship.
