For those who have been Everyday Liturgy readers for a while now, you know that there is a special part in my heart for Advent. From my Advent Guides, to my article on fasting during Advent to a theological translation of the O Antiphons I have been learning, writing and thinking around the topic for a while now. Starting in 2009, I have been recommending Advent Conspiracy as a resource to learn how to renew our sense of the Advent season and change our giving habits. With my favorite liturgical season just around the corner, I’m excited to share that Advent Conspiracy is teaming up with International Justice Mission to help end slavery this Advent and Christmas season. My vocation combined with my favorite church season? Pretty sweet!
